Hello, Mary --

To make sure you're providing the court in your state the correct forms, you should use only the forms provided by the court's web site in your area.

Print out the forms they provide on that web site.

If you have questions, go physically to your court house and ask the clerk's office to help you -- or if you can't go physically, call the clerk's office and ask your questions.

And remember that some courts allow a person to file without a filing fee. You just have to prove your financial status.

How do u know if the court in your state will accept these online forms?

Good job, Stephanie. Keep putting one foot in front of the other. You deserve a life free of abuse and a partner who treats you with love and kindness.

And thanks for the info re the divorce forms. I'm sure it'll be helpful to others here on the site.

I downloaded my do it yourself divorce forms kit from http://www.mydivorceusa.com

I am from Texas and these forms and their site was simple and easy for me to complete.

Just an FYI

Thank you
