The May 9, 2006, issue of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports that Gary Rogers in Hamilton first knocked his wife, Paula, to the floor during an argument and then shot her in the face with a .380-caliber pistol. Paula was flown to University Hospital for treatment -- police said they do not believe her injuries are life-threatening.
Maybe not "life-threatening", but certainly dangerous and disfiguring.
Outrageous.
